Responsibilities Job Purpose
The purpose of the job is to facilitate the manual/automation testing in Agile/Hybrid environment, Oracle HCM.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Test lead will have the opportunity to demonstrate process and solution knowledge in his/her area of expertise promoting Oracle foundation template and partnering with Solution Architects and system integrators to solve for gaps, sponsoring enterprise and business requirements
- Review requirements specifications and design documents
- Engage with System Integrators to develop the overall test strategy for the project
- Review the Test Scripts supplied by System Integrators, coordinate with Workstream Product Owners, change champions and Business SMEs for review and provide feedback to the System Integrators.
- Create, maintain, manage, and enforce Test Plan/Strategy
- Participate in the build sprint(s) and related activities
- Review Automated test cases and results
- Partner with Workstream Leads, Change Champions and Business SMEs to develop UAT test scripts for business scenarios and coordinate UAT execution as well as ensure defects are triaged, tracked and dispositioned using the testing tools and methods
- Provide UAT orientation and tool training (as applicable) to the internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Project Manager to communicate and document QA related risks, provide QA status and metrics
- Coordinating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and lead defect triage meetings
- Responsibility to ensure functional and technical governance is in place for project for adherence to enterprise standard as applicable and adherence to technical standards and strategy from relevant CoE
- Provide insights and thought leadership on industry/functional trends and best practices to guide business priorities, customer and employee experience advancements, and technology decisions
- Formulate synthesized business capability and technology advancement strategies and long-term roadmaps
Qualifications Experience & Education
- Any Graduate with minimum of 5 years' of experience
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience working as workstream lead in Oracle HCM and related suite of products
- Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to define requirements from a Global perspective
- Previous strong hands-on implementation experience of Oracle ERP HCM Fusion Applications, at least 1 full cycles of successful implementations in Lead role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Experience and good knowledge about automation framework, automation strategy, scripting,
- Have good knowledge of QA methodologies and process.
- Have hands on experience on writing manual tests extensively, executing test runs, sanity suites
- Align strategic and tactical business objectives with corresponding HR objectives
- Strong functional and technical knowledge
- Ability to bring lessons learned and best implementation practices from ERP implementations.
- Experience working on global projects where alignment with different stakeholders and centers of excellence is required to achieve outcomes.
- Accountable for engagement with System Integrator partner for build test and deploy activities
- Lead and manage solution and technical delivery resources for a specific workstream
- Drive benefit realization and delivery of intended results in partnership with the project team
