At Eni, we are looking for a Risk Analyst within EGEM in EGEM offices on Ebury Bridge Road, SW1, London. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the activities of the Crude Oil Derivatives (COD) desk in London. You will be providing daily performance and market risk analysis for both physical crude and flow trading business and works very closely with traders and the other parts of the EGEM business.

As a member of the CFO Team EGEM you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing daily PNL and risk reports and follow up any issues with relevant teams.
- Assisting in identifying significant risks within the business, ensuring that they are transparent to senior management.
- Maintaining a good knowledge of the physical crude market as well as the refinery system.
- Supporting front office in obtaining approval for new and non-standard products.
- Contributing to the month and quarter-end reporting for crude and derivatives portfolios with back office and accounting.
- Providing information and commentary for the bi-weekly Risk Committee meetings.
- Reviewing and approving any relevant changes to the main ETRM system (Endur).
- Guaranteeing compliance for trading procedures with relevant controls and support when necessary internal and external audit requests.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
- University degree in economics, maths, pure science, finance, engineering, or a similar numerate discipline.
- Strong and solid knowledge of MS Office suite including excellent Excel and VBA . SQL and Python would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of derivatives and options.
- Understanding of a market risk role either within a trading company or bank.
- Knowledge of risk metrics such as VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis.
- Knowledge of the Endur ETRM system would be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate concisely to senior management and to stakeholders.
- Full command of the English language (spoken and written).
