Wood is recruiting for a Subsea Controls System Engineer to support current and future workload within our subsea consultancy team.
This role will be based in our Aberdeen office with hybrid working available.

The Role
Our Subsea Controls Systems Team provides solutions to our client's challenges in order to create efficient and reliable systems that benefit the client and environment. The team repair and maintenance of our client's brownfield systems, alongside designing new projects in increasingly demanding locations. The position provides an opportunity to make a positive impact in all stages of project design for Concept, FEED and Detailed Design. Additionally we provide Operations technical expertise internationally, both onshore and offshore.
As a Subsea Controls engineer within Wood Consultancy division you will have the opportunity to use your technical knowledge and experience to advise clients on the best approach for their system design and follow through from concept to installation and operation. Your work will have a direct impact on the decisions made by the client and will be instrumental in improving subsea controls systems for the future.
The role involves a combination of skills including subsea controls system design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and diagnosis. - Apply your technical knowledge to progress project designs and operation methodologies
- Be directly responsible for influencing and guiding client technical decisions
- Assess and provide solutions to novel engineering challenges

Expected:
- E ducated to Bachelor's or Masters Degree level in one or more of the following;
- Electrical,
