Purpose: The primary responsibility of the ERP Business Analyst (BA) is to serve as the application & functional expert on the business processes, systems and data around ERP delivery Portfolios. The BA will perform business analysis and execute change activities, this will include both project work and sustain and improvement enhancements. The BA will work alongside Project Managers, developers, and other BAs to provide IT solutions and support to meet their business needs.
Accountabilities:- Interface with business stakeholders in shaping business demand and assess vendor/solution feasibilities, provide input to estimate delivery cost and schedule
- Identify and specify IT and digitalization requirements and appropriate solutions in terms of applications and services to enable the effective and efficient execution of the China unless IT strategy within the Shell China unique technical/business context
- IT Business analysis work on project, discretionary, operational items. This would include Business Analysis, Business Requirements Definition, Business Solution Design, Functional Specification & Acceptance Criteria, and Acceptance Test Plan and Management.
- Unit, system integration, and E2E process testing for new enhancements, projects and performs or facilitates change management communication to the user community on future IT solution changes.
- Liaising with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders
- Champion streamlined enterprise business processes and IT solution development, as well as all IT procedure and related policies (IRM, etc)
- Assist users in defining, planning and execution change programmes, including training advice and support, to ensure the effective implementation of new developments and the achievement of the required business impact.
- May take a relatively small size project's PM role to grow delivery capability

- The desired candidate will have the drive, determination and ability to work independently and hold a highly positive attitude to the business in general and to local digitalization solution in particular.
- Both the delivery hub and IT/IM organizations are not yet fully defined nor staffed, which necessitates a pragmatic and creative approach and the ability to prioritize. This will be a challenging and changing business environment and the successful candidate must be comfortable both working in such an environment and be able to identify and deliver practical business-focused solutions
- Capacity to manage complex interfaces across organizational and geographic boundaries in both the Project team and the service delivery teams. This requires the capability to manage multiple tasks and have the ability to network / influence to achieve results.
- Candidate should be well versed in both the functional and technical aspects of the Compliance solution, as well as the underlying business processes supported.
Skills & Requirement:- Experience managing large ERP projects as BA (SAP, or equivariant local ERP products)
- In-depth ERP business domain knowledge on at least one of business process areas such as finance, supply chain or sales and marketing.
- Broad knowledge of IT, knowledge of the technology landscape including current developments and the most commonly available products.
- Ability to work effectively and manage relationships with senior Business leaders, peers and subordinates, in a virtual, geographically dispersed and cross cultural environment
- Be focused on working towards agreed objectives, while maintaining flexibility to take account of new challenges and changed circumstances, as they occur.
- Positive attitude, committed to achieving deadlines and results with a demonstrable track record of delivery against targets.
- Experience in business analyses, business IT change management, business process streamline, preferably within Shell context
- Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of B2B business and/or supply chain process is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles.
- Minimum 6 Years working working experience as ERP BA role
