- Responsible for delivering instrument engineering design work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
- Preparation of instrument datasheet, instrument list, I/O list.
- Preparation of instrument sizing for flow element and valves.
- Familiar with IPF methodology and implementation.
- Control system such as DCS (Honeywell), ESD PLC, mechanical equipment package control system PLC and relay base system.
- Preparation of loop drawings, interlock logic diagram.
- Preparation of cable schedule, cable connection list, junction box schedule, etc.
- Preparation of typical installation drawing, instrumentation hook-up drawings.
- Preparation of construction drawings such as instrument plot plan, wiring layout, etc.
- Preparation of Material Take-off for installations.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering background.
- Minimum 4 years' experience with at least 5 years of engineering design experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
- Experienced in handling rejuvenation and revamp project.
- Familiar with international codes and standard (especially IEC, ISA, etc.)
- Able to carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing plant documentation.
- Experienced in Instrument installation or commissioning.
- Knowledge with Smart Plant Instrumentation INTOOLS software.
- Good command in Malay and English (spoken and written)
- Able to work in team and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
