Landmark provides E&P professionals with software-driven lifecycle insights that generate new ideas, actions, and results to maximize asset value. We are looking to recruit an experienced Delivery Manager to work with a set of global development teams from our Abingdon office, Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for leading a set of teams to plan, organize and deliver new high-quality product releases in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities include:
  • Plan, organize, and manage project resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with scrum masters and team leads to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery of technical solutions
  • Staffing, career development and management of scrum teams
  • Allocation of resources
  • Productivity assessments
  • Delivery of technically sound solutions by ensuring that the solutions produced meet the accepted technical standards
  • Ensure produced solutions are cost-effective, performant and high quality
  • Ensure re-use of technical components and reduction of duplication
  • Assist product management teams in scoping and costing of technical solutions
  • Staying current on existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role


Development Leadership
  • Successfully manage globally distributed teams
  • Lead scrum teams in working effectively to satisfy software delivery goals and strong collaboration across roles
  • IT and cloud savvy, able to understand required technology and infrastructure needed to support the Software Development function (Tools, Processes, Architecture)
  • Ability to create, communicate, and execute an effective Software Development vision and strategy
  • Provide leadership across the company to enable continuous improvement in Software Development best practices within the organization (e.g., work with IT, Business, and Production Operations)


Required Education and Skills
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in leading Software Development teams in the delivery of complex applications. Excellent understanding of design principles and best practices
  • 6+ years of software development experience in the cloud
  • Experience in software architecture and system design
  • Experience with kubernetes-based applications
  • Proven experience delivering cloud-based products
  • Solid understanding of how to build publicly exposed APIs while adhering to best practices
  • Familiarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as: Jenkins and GitLab Runner
  • Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
  • Must be self-motivated but be able to work well in a team environment
  • Team player; willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on cross-functional problem solving
  • Experience with leading Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Self-Starter; willing to learn new technologies, ability to learn fast
  • Working in an Agile development environment


Desired Experience
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience migrating thick applications into the cloud
  • Experience optimizing SaaS delivery processes
  • Experience with Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU)
