Job Description:
  • Leads the design and implementation of broad-based total compensation programs and processes through the application of advanced principles, theories and concepts.
  • Manages moderately complex projects or programs to provide solutions that are externally competitive and aligned with business strategy and objectives.
  • Projects and programs include market-competitive base pay, job-related variable pay, short and long-term incentives, stock, recognition and rewards, and additional remuneration elements.
  • Develops and recommends approaches to facilitate the effective delivery of pay programs.
  • Executes strategic design and delivery of core compensation on a regional or global basis to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborates and consults with senior business and HR leadership to build effective compensation strategies and initiatives.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in broad-based total compensation plan design and implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications, with experience performing complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience working in HR and compensation management systems. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, MarketPay, or JDXpert is preferred.
  • Professional presentations, project management, follow-through, accuracy and attention to detail, managing confidentiality, teamwork, and effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts and business acumen. Experience applying US employment law concepts in compensation programs.


Education and Experience:
  • Requires completion of undergraduate degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline, and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organization, and experience in the energy industry is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Compensation or as a Human Resources Professional is preferred.
