Position Purpose

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment and reuse. Our Water Technologies and Solutions Engineered Systems commercial organization has an opportunity for a Sales Account Manager with our Engineered Solutions Assets Care Services sales team. In this role, you will promote and sell our complete pure water/ultrapure treatment systems to light industry clients in the Houston, Texas region. Additionally you will support clients in the region for expansions, additions, water conservation projects, and account management that puts you on the client's team. That offering includes our service deionization through to our standard reverse osmosis systems. In this role, you will develop and execute growth plans for the assigned region.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales plan, opportunity and sales/revenue forecast to drive growth within the territory.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers and service team for account retention/support.
  • Collaborating and working closely with the service, engineering, product marketing, and commercial operations team to meet prospective and new customer expectations to provide competitive solutions.
  • Using technology systems and tools to provide reports and updates on sales plans, revenue forecasts, customers, and results.
  • Proactively drive the service deionization product line and outsourcing solutions to the overall potential customer base.
  • Collaborate with our Bridge/IX team (those serving our heavy industries) to build strategy and tactics to maximize our mobile / outsourcing solutions.
  • Foster a partnership with the Chemical & Monitoring Solutions (CMS) team to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives.
  • Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects, which will provide short, medium and long-term success.
  • Support the company's new product launch campaigns and gather market information for the company's new developments.

  • Understanding of full sales lifecycle and processes - from prospecting to closing

Education & Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical program
  • At least 5 years combined sales and related industry work experience

Preferred:
  • Equipment sales / Service deionization sales experience
  • Service experience
  • Demonstrated excellent computer experience
  • Experience with SalesForce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
