Reporting in to the Engineering Manager of an important EPC Company based in Dubai, the Lead Process Engineer will be responsible for managing the process engineering services to meet the company's, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, time and budget.
Some of the roles' key tasks are:
- To supervise the Process Engineers and approving their planning, document registers, and forecasts.
- To assigns the appropriate manpower.
- To ensure deliverables are high quality and in conformance to corporate engineering procedures.
- To assist as an interface with Project Managers /Engineering Managers on design/engineering issues.
- To participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and comply with required procedures.
- To ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- To provide advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
- To act as the process engineering Lead on specific projects.
- To proactively resolve any discrepancies between the Company and its Customer's requirements
We are looking for a bachelor's with a Master's degree in chemical engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in similar positions and with Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications. Knowledge on MS Office Suite and process engineering specific software such as HYSYS, ProMax, Pipesim, HTRI is necessary.
