Take ownership for industry leading projects

You will be accountable to ensure technical support to CTS Sales and Commercial teams during multi-disciplinary activities such as feasibilities studies, pre-FEEDs, technical risk assessments, including New Products/Solutions identification and commercialization.

As a Senior Proposal Engineer - Climate Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for:

 

 

• Demonstrating accountability for functions, business, and broad company objectives. Integrating processes that meet business needs and development across the organization.
• Becoming the primary technical interface for CTS Commercial and DTI teams when a coordinated multi-disciplinary Engineering effort is required, to support project opportunities development.
• Partnering with CTS Commercial and DTI teams to develop and cultivate customer relationships, understanding their needs and development plan.
• Reviewing tender documentation, understanding customer specifications and requirements, translating those into technical solutions.
• Providing project leadership and technical direction for identified opportunities, including robust technical risk management.
• Coordinating with Engineering leaders providing the required disciplines engagement to support CTS Business requirements and activities.
• Working closely with New Products & Solutions organization providing input for programs development.
• Assuring IP protection since early phase of bids, and a smooth ITO/OTR hand off supporting Requisition teams.
• Demonstrating flexibility to continuously learn and adapt improving the responsiveness to customer and business needs.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

• Have knowledge of emerging technologies. Microgrid, Carbon Capture and Utilization, hydrogen production and clean power generation technologies - advantageous.
• Have extensive technical management experience, such as Project Engineer and/or Application & Proposal Engineer.
• Have experience in technical risk management (Register, HAZOP, FMEA, etc.)
• Have a BSc. or MSc. in an engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Have very good oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Be willing to travel up to 30% of time.
