We are seeking an attorney with expertise in M&A and material experience in venture capital transactions to join our client as a Senior Counsel in their Project Development & Finance Practice Group.
This is a full time staff position to be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a comprehensive package that provides the most competitive salaries in the industry, accommodation, travel, visa and much more.

Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a Juris Doctor degree or equivalent from a recognized and approved university in a common law jurisdiction, together with admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or country of which the candidate is a citizen. In addition, you must have:
A minimum of six years of M&A and/or VC experience in a law firm with a strong M&A or VC practice or comprised of a combination of law firm and in-house experience in a corporation handling M&A and/or VC transactions.
Demonstrable experience working directly with the clients from transaction inception to completion.
Hands-on experience with structuring, drafting, negotiating, and leading transactions in a first or second chair capacity.
Experience with international transactions and finance principles.
A license to practice law from and be in good standing in the United States or other similar common law jurisdictions.
A self-starting, flexible, pragmatic, and commercially oriented approach to practicing law.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Lead the legal activities with respect to the development and implementation of mergers, acquisitions, and minority VC investments, including the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of such transactions.
Advise management and internal clients with respect to the company's legal rights and obligations, agreements, and common statutory or similar requirements in connection with M&A and VC transactions.
Assist Law Management and other attorneys in marshalling and examining the law and facts pertinent to legal problems.
Liaise and work with outside counsel to negotiate and document transactions on a cost-effective basis.
You will report to the Practice Leader of the Project Development & Finance Group. While the position is based in Dhahran, this is a global practice and requires commensurate travel.
