Shell Trading and Supply (T&S) is one of the largest energy trading operations in the world. The Commercial Operations organization within T&S operates in 9 trading hubs, 4 key SBO locations, with over 1360 people supporting 35 countries. It is designed to improve T&S cross business execution including both 'run the business capabilities' e.g. trading operations support and 'change the business capabilities'. This is achieved through enhanced business transformation activities such as a joint data and digital team, project delivery team and Centre of Excellence.
The Customer Insights and Integration team is focused on ensuring a lens of the customer across all touchpoints of the Life of a Deal. Counterparty Life Cycle Management (CLCM) is the onboard touchpoint (including a wealth of things in addition to new onboarding), delivering an excellent service to our Counterparties whilst ensuring that we maintain high ethical standards and adherence to compliance requirements every step of the way.

Enhancing the Shell Counterparty (CP) experience whilst upholding our ethical and regulatory standards is at the heart of this role.
Reporting into the Re-Review Team lead, you will have responsibility for a range of activities including undertaking risk reviews and outreach for CDD counterparties.
You will work closely with stakeholders at various levels within our Lines of Business (LOBs) and Compliance to identify the most appropriate next steps given the outcome of the re-review/outreach activity, as well as highlight ways in which the processes may be made more effective, to enable us to improve our processes and services and to deliver a better customer experience.
Key Skills and Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of working experience in KYC/AML areas would be advantageous
- Experience in Tier 1 Financial Institutions (Wholesale, Commercial/Corporate, Investment Banking) and/or large Commodities or Trading Houses (Oil, Energy) would be highly valuable.
- Relevant experience in counterparty onboarding process including ability to research information and undertake counterparty outreach to obtain required documentation for Counterparty Due Diligence.
