Activities

  • To ensure that state of the art, TEEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.
  • To work by anticipation. To assess and to identify risks for the PBF & ARI activities and manage associated mitigation actions at his/her level.

  • meet the targets of the Projects.
  • To promote digitalization and innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along
  • the different stages of the project. To focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.
  • During the FEED and until FID:
  • To review the contractual and technical interfaces resulting from the PBF projects contractual strategy / matrix
  • To assist interface leaders in the definition of battery limits, and interface design data.
  • To supervise the interface management process and ensure it is adequately captured in the various projects within PBF. To oversee the interface
  • management implementation by various PBF Interface Leader(s)
  • To assist Interface Leader (s) in expediting the exchange of Interface Task Sheets, and in closing out of interfaces.
  • During the project Execution and until project Handover to Field Operations:
  • To attend all interface-related meetings with affiliate DT entities (SUB, EPT, PCP), including in interface management meetings, interface workshops,
  • HAZID / HAZOP meetings, meetings with Contractor(s).
  • To identify interface deliverables, monitor timely issuance by corresponding Interface Leaders, and to control their quality.
  • Support interface leaders to provide reliable reporting of interfaces activities and consolidate for internal reporting to ARI manager.
  • To monitor interfaces activities and identify possible deviations or changes. To alert ARI manager and project team as required.
  • In general, to coordinate with internal engineering team to ensure progress and resolution of all interface matters.
  • To liaise with the Document Control team to assist consolidation of the interface management records.

 

Accountabilities

  • S/he will be Accountable for all interface management topics delegated by ARI Manager.
  • S/he will be the interface focal point for ARI team, between the various parties involved: within PBF - Subsea Production System (SPS), Subsea Umbilical Risers & Flowlines (SURF), Field Operations (FOPS) and Project Teams, and outside PBF - Drilling & Completion (PCP),
  • Engineering Projects and Works (EPT) and Subsea (SUB) teams in TEPA.S/he will manage the development or update of all ARI's perimeter related procedures.
  • S/he will be responsible to follow up all the activities related to the management of interfaces within PBF Project, i.e., to know the interface management tools and procedures, to participate with the Interface leaders in the definition and control of battery limits, identification of
  • Interfaces between Projects and Packages, assist in the management of these interfaces up to their close-out, and, as a general manner, check and expedite interface activities.
  • Role, as ARI Method Engineer is to promote innovation experimentation and the implementation of new services and tools to allow PBF (in particular), TEPA (in general) to adapt to new working environment conditions, to obtain productivity gains and profitability.
  • S/he will report to the ARI Manager and be a key member of the project team to achieve a successful execution from an HSE, technical and commercial point of view.

 

Qualifications/Experience required

  • Formal Education: Engineering degree.
  • Professional experience: minimum 5 years within project.
  • Experience in similar position: similar experience in an interface position is a plus. A sound Oil & Gas multidiscipline technical background is preferable. A previous exposure to a subsea asset, either in a project or operations position, is essential.
  • Good knowledge in Interface, project management, engineering and HSE.
  • Good knowledge organization and coordination, communication, End-user service minded, and team spirit.
  • Autonomous, and able to work in "project mode", know how to intervene in transversal areas of activity.
  • Languages: English and Portuguese mandatory. French is a plus.
