Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting a Junior Underground Designer for the development of projects at different phases (feasibility, FEED, EPC - grass root and revamping) to be carried out in Milan office on permanent basis.

Key activities and Responsibilities:
  • Executing underground services design in accordance with the applicable laws and standards requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment. These activities shall be performed in 3D environment and 2D tools (Autocad or Microstation)
  • Executing the assigned design activities in accordance with job requirements and time schedule following the instructions given by the Civil / Structural project leader
  • Preparation and check of drainage calculations
  • Preparation of overall underground services layout and installation drawings based on data received from the other disciplines or based on site survey information where needed
  • Checking of the drawings provided by third parties
  • Guarantee high quality level of the documents and compliance with Project and Company procedures and standards
  • Review and check of the design in 3D engineering environments
  • Check of the designed quantities


Skills / Qualifications

  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Fluent English speaker and writer
  • Fluent in Italian
