Our client is a multinational energy company that has been a leader of the clean energy transition from its inception. They are committed to being the first power company to reach net-zero carbon emissions. Their renewable energy solutions are driving growth in America's clean energy sector with the goal of a more resilient, reliable, sustainable, and equitable future. They are currently constructing a project off the coast of New York that is expected to begin commercial operations by the end of 2023 and power tens of thousands of homes.
Overview
The client is searching for 3 candidates to fall into rotation with each other on 2 different vessels for the SFW project off the coast of Long Island. The start dates will be approximately 2 weeks apart, meaning that not all will start on the 1st of June. Some might start 2 weeks later.
The rotation is expected to be 4 weeks on followed by 2-4 weeks off. This is subject to change according to vessel movements and duration of scope, and will be planned directly with the Offshore Installation Manager on the project.
Example: Week 1 - 12h /day, 80h/week Week 3 - off
Week 2 - 12h/day, 80h/week Week 4 - off
Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate record of daily activities throughout the execution phase Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the Contractor Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality Act, behave and lead by example according to the client's company values Maintain a very high focus on safety throughout the complete installation
Tasks
Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) as required
Review and understand Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents
Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality
During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness and access all work areas provided it is safe to do so
Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from the client company and Contractor organisations
Participate in the relevant inspections and complete and submit handover documentation
Mandatory Requirements
GWO Basic Safety Training: (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
OGUK Medical certificate including Chester Step Test or approved equivalent
IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)
Maintain a high focus on quality and safety
Strong communicator with a can-do attitude
Ability to speak your mind while maintaining a positive atmosphere
Speak, read and write English fluently

Marine awareness qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within onshore or offshore construction, preferably with foundation and/or WTG
Possibly relevant experience from heavy lifts, transporting heavy loads, loadouts, pile driving
Possibly relevant experience with quality inspections and documentation
Experience with client offshore wind projects Experience from working within Foundation or WTG Installation
IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training Experience with client DPR or Synergi/non-conformity reporting
Additional Information and Costs
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office software and must be in possession of an i-Phone 6 or newer, or a Windows phone 8.1.
Unfortunately, the client is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited status for any positions. Only US citizens will be considered.
Covid Test: If requirement for test comes from client, cost will be reimbursed
Travel (flights): If national flights are required to travel, cost is on the client - travel hours are not working hours and shall not be considered
Accommodation: If onshore work is required and the consultant cannot stay home due to distance, client will reimburse costs for reasonable lodging
Offshore work: Consultant will be accommodated on a vessel - client pays for a hotel nearby the location of departure the day before, if travel to site on same date is not possible
Ground Transportation: If necessary, paid by client
PPE: Provided by client when needed (dry suits, climbing gear and helmet), except for safety boots
Excluded Expenses: Snacks, drinks, parking, transport to and from harbor or airport of departure to offshore (always check your contract), personal items, additional flight travel fares (seat change, seat reservation, upgrade), any additional costs due to bringing spouse, mobile, net/data/wi-fi top-up, tips (e.g. restaurants or taxis)
