NES Fircroft has a great new job opportunity open with one of the country's leading Oil and Natural Gas companies! Our client is currently looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Partner to join their Human Resources team in Superior, WI. The role will report to the Director, US Human Resources and Labour Relations. As the successful candidate, you will provide end-to-end Talent Acquisition expertise to the Superior refinery, including - Talent Strategy Meetings, strategic sourcing support, candidate assessment / management, offer recommendations and presentations, etc., all while providing a very high-level hiring leader and candidate experience. This role is located at our Client's Superior, WI Refinery.

Job Details:
Location: Superior, WI
Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week (1 day remote per week)
Pay: Negotiable based on experience and expectations
Duration: 1-Year
Responsibilities:
• Develop strong relationships with business leaders to actively support business priorities by efficiently delivering top talent to the business as a trusted partner
• Guide and coach hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process to ensure that the right talent is selected for the right role at the right time
• Flawlessly deliver full-cycle Talent Acquisition to the business including:
o Conducting Talent Strategy Meetings
o Strategic sourcing strategies
o Collaborating with Hiring Leader on job posting content
o Developing selection criteria and pre-screening questions
o Candidate screening and short-listing
o Interviewing and selection with the Hiring Leader
o Offer recommendation development
o Pre-employment checks
• Manage the job offer process including assembling relevant offer details, developing the right offer, making compensation recommendations, negotiating, and securing acceptance
• Ensure process includes strategic approach to top talent being a long-term gain for the organization
o Identify and implement improvements to sourcing strategies which yield value without compromising on quality
o Agility to successfully source field based hourly roles through to professional employees
o Develop strategies to support strategic recruitment in the Ohio and Wisconsin areas
• Guide fair and unbiased decision-making during the hiring process to ensure attraction, screening, and retention of top talent to build diverse and inclusive teams for the organization
• Develop the Cenovus brand by building relationships with targeted community groups, stakeholders, agencies and vendors as aligned to the talent acquisition strategy
• Demonstrate good understanding of the business and to assist with delivery of talent needed to achieve business priorities
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional Talent Acquisition Partner in the United States with working knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other related state and federal laws to align to and support Cenovus's Diversity and Inclusion strategies preferred
• Post-secondary education in HR or related discipline is a requirement
• Proven experience in understanding and filling hard to fill roles with limited talent pools
• Thorough understanding and hands-on experience using an ATS, preferably Workday
• Exposure and understanding of Total Compensation, particularly relative to the offer recommendation process
• Oil and Gas industry experience, or related experience easily transferrable to providing support in this industry preferred
• Experience recruiting within unionized environments is an asset
• Strong influencing skills to create positive outcomes
• Strong MS Office abilities, particularly with MS Word and Excel
• Creative, innovative, and results oriented
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work cross-functionality with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment; demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
• This position may require travel to additional sites for in person support (20% of the time)
