NES Fircroft has partnered with some of the largest diversified upstream oilfield service companies in the world. They are currently looking for several entry level Heavy Equipment Operators - HC/MC Drivers to assist in the Wireline, Fracking and Cementing Operations for their job sites located in ROMA, QLD and Moomba, SA on a FIFO roster.
These roles do not require any previous experience in the Oil and Gas sector (but if you have some will be advantageous); it is a very good opportunity to kick off or further develop your career in the industry if you have the right attitude and possess the required tickets/certificates.
This assignment is based on a fixed term contract of 6-months/12-months, with the possibility of an extension; full-time opportunities with the client are also available for the right candidates.

Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
- Drive Heavy and Multi combination trucks and other vehicles to and from the job site.
- Keep truck fuelled, maintaining truck history books, serviced & complete pre-departure checks.
- Manual laboring: Lift, handle, load and unload trucks, rig up, rig down logging tools.
- Clean and service equipment after jobs.
- Handle and make up equipment for calibrations.
- Assist in repair and/or maintenance operations as per the supervisor instructions.
- Taking instructions from other crew members and work from the bottom up and as part of a team.
- Fill out required reports.
- HC/MC License is a MUST - i.e. (unrestricted) Road-ranger/crash box licensed/experienced will be advantageous.
- High-risk License (Forklift, Dogman, Rigger, Crane) is desired.
- RII Ticket/Certification for the Front-End Loader is desired.
- Willing and able to handle manual labour for long 12-hour days.
- Willing to commit to a rotating roster (FIFO) and working away from home.
- Willing and able to take instruction from other crew members and work from the bottom up and as part of a team.
- Able to provide a clear Police-Check record.
- Able to pass a full pre-employment medical with Drug and Alcohol test.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- These roles are FIFO, working on an even time roster - 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 3 weeks on/3 weeks off.
- 12hrs days (6am/6pm or viceversa) with competitive salary package and penalty rates applicable.
- Training will be provided and plenty of career development in the industry.
- Accommodation, travel and meals are provided while onsite.
- Long distance travel may be required between work locations and candidates will be mobilising from major capital cities.
