NES Fircroft is delighted to be working with a global business which specializes in the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of power cables and wires as well as optical components, lasers and crystal fibres.

The client is looking to hire a Sales / BD Manager who will play a key role in successfully implementing the US market entry for the service and installation division of their business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales / business development professional who has a background in consulting / technical sales as well as a good understanding of cables and the US market as a whole.

The successful candidate will be responsible for - 
  • Creating and executing a capture plan in line with the NAM market entry strategy
  • Building and managing a customer network
  • Building and managing a sales representatives network
  • Meeting sales targets through identification of new sales opportunities and management of existing business
  • Executing tenders of small and medium size opportunities and playing a key role in large tender works, in collaboration with global Service & Installation tender team
  • Defining the future service and product portfolio for the North American market
  • Advising on the development of our organization and capabilities
To apply you should be able to demonstrate - 
  • a degree and around 7-12 years experience within a sales / technical sales role within the US cable industry
  • are result driven and have a pro-active and entrepreneurial approach
  • can rely on your experience in working at MV/HV/EHV cable service providers, electrical contractors, cable manufacturers and cable accessories suppliers
  • have a strong sales mindset and are social, relatable and customer focused
  • can work independently and manage various stakeholders and projects or initiatives simultaneously
  • have an existing network of customers and sales representatives to tap into
  • have a capacity to embrace new and challenging tasks and are willing to adjust to fast-paced and changing working environments and/or market circumstances
  •  have a sense of responsibility with robust quality and safety approach
The client is considering remote / hybrid working depending on your location and your willingness to travel for the role.
