As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will work in product development, design, sustaining, and R&D. You will develop complete packages of work for your assigned Projects. Everything you do will be impactful; affecting product cost, performance and manufacturing methods/standardization. You will review and submit patents and conducts research, design and development of standard engineering assignments.

As an Electrical Development Engineering, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading work package development, from part creation to approval for our subsea connectors, harnesses, and EDS.
  • Working with low to high voltages; ranking up to 3000 Volts.
  • Setting up and conducting testing of electrical systems at high pressures within a Hyperbaric chamber.
  • Engaging with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships to meet project deliverables.
  • Promoting Compliance, Quality & EHS integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with proven experience working in an industrial setting.
  • Possess the ability to lead the Electrical discipline on projects including schedule control, monitoring, and reporting
  • Have Experience in the design of MV and LV electrical distribution / transmission systems
  • Able to conduct equipment specification and selection and in ensuring compliance from the suppliers with regards to relevance and regulatory requirements
  • Understand product development life-cycles, design, and document change control and have some understanding of SAP or MRP/ERP system
