This position is responsible for planning and executing global events and customer visits. This includes managing event budgets and tasks that are required for each event. Tasks include collaborating with various product services lines, reserving venues or booth space, market analysis and communicating with event organizers and vendors. The role requires excellent communications skills and meeting deadlines.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Under broad direction, the Marketing Specialist provides expert consultation and advice in a highly specialized area of marketing, and plans and executes marketing projects within their specialization, including working with stakeholders to set project goals, timelines, and campaign strategies.
  • In addition, the Specialist will plan the production of small, medium or large internal and external events and customer visits
  • Research new global event opportunities
  • Travel for on-site event execution
  • As a Specialist, the individual is considered an expert in their field, and is directly accountable for a wide range of concurrently running projects or marketing campaigns.
  • Apply their expertise in developing marketing strategies for business units, geographies, and Product Service Lines (PSLs) through project work and expert advice.
  • Requires completion of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in global events
  • Oil & Gas technical marketing experience.
