Partner with the best Baker Hughes Commercial Proposal Specialist candidate, will review specifications, send proposals to sales team and customers. Work with engineering and production specialists that can span a path into other entities such as Sales, application engineering, or commercial management.
As a Commercial Proposal specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation, upkeep of CRM records and management reporting
- Handling standardized products with pre-defined options, as well as customized products with support from Applications Engineering
- Contributing to predefined contracts and a framework of conditions and prices is set.
- Handling targeted clients
- Discussing sales approach with manager.
- Managing commercial risk and participates in commercial negotiations
- Performing other duties, as assigned, according to the needs of the business.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will require:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or HS diploma with 6 years relevant industry experience and proven technical competence
- Technical aptitude pertaining to industry standards, mechanical / rotating equipment
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Desire to learn and contribute
- Willingness to relocate, as business needs arise
