Skills and Experience:

Undertake maintenance, repair, testing and installation of the following:

1. Gas generators, free turbines and their associated component assemblies - this must include a good working knowledge of balancing techniques to the appropriate manufacturer standards.
2. Rebalancing of compressors and turbine rotor assemblies, component inspection criteria and approved repair method.
3. Undertakes and direct others in the fault finding, dismantling, inspection, refurbishment, repair, overhaul, re-build and testing of gas generators, free turbines and their associated component assemblies, balancing of compressor and turbine rotor assemblies to manufacturer's pre-determined standards, re-blading of rotor assemblies, fault analysis of operational equipment, including the use of vibration analysis equipment.
