Job Summary

Buyer is responsible for purchasing goods for the company to use or sell in their own business, negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage an inventory and evaluate quality of goods.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Monitors all unreceived (zero or partial) Purchase Orders in the district
• Works with the Rig Managers to acquire the receiving documents for all POs not received past the promise date
• Manages all "PO Receive" Nabors Supplier Gateway (NSG) work queue action items for the district; where the vendor has invoiced, and the transaction is on "hold" status pending system goods receipt
• Coordinates (guides & trains) with each Rig Manager in the district to ensure that ALL receiving documents originating from the rig site are signed and are regularly and promptly delivered and/or transmitted to the office of the Receiving Clerk
• Coordinates and aligns withd Nabors' Buyer when required
• Prepare monthly & weekly KPI reports as required
• Others duties as required.

Minimum qualifications

 

• Essential Skills & Experience
• Should have some Oracle experience
• Should be proficient in Excel
• Must be extremely organized and have the ability to adhere to priorities and deadlines.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in Power BI

 

Preffered Qualifications

 

• Proficient in Power BI
• Proficient in Excel and V-lookups .
• Must be a self-starter with the strong desire to accomplish assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of oil equipment and supplies a plus.
• Previous experience with online purchasing a plus

• Oil field experience is required as we deal with material and equipment
