About the Bogota Information Technology Center (BITC)

About this role
Schlumberger has an opening in Colombia, for Analytics Product Owner BPI (Business Performance Insights) will be acting as a bridge between the BPI stakeholders/ Leadership and the data scientists/ Product developers to understand the business requirements well and translate the requirements into an analytical solution.
The end users supported are the global community in Schlumberger using BPI. In accordance with business needs, this role would be responsible for ensuring and improving the functional and technical quality and management of the above-mentioned applications with a focus on data quality, sufficiency, and completeness.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the business stakeholders and BPI internal stakeholders to capture requirements.
- Work closely with analytics engineers and business process managers to develop an end-to-end analytics solution.
- Present and communicate solution design with Business & IT audience.
- Responsible for solution evaluation and drive technology solutions from a holistic and business value perspective
- Lead multiple projects and manage stakeholders and should be able to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential qualifications
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field or MBAs in Supply Chain/ Analytics/OR/Finance/General Management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, verbal, and written skills.
- An analytical mindset that allows you to draw valuable conclusions from large amounts of data.
- Oil and gas/ manufacturing knowledge a plus.
- Strong understanding in any of the TLM(A2R), M2C and D2D end-to-end processes and master data.
Other skills and abilities
- Ability to work in global distributed setting without supervision.
- Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking
- Open to travel abroad and in India
- Comfortable working across time-zones
- Excellent communication skills & ability to present.
