Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Belgium and work on a green hydrogen project. The engineer will be responsible for leading the engineering activities of the project, developing design criteria and equipment specifications, and providing technical guidance to the project team. The engineer must have a strong technical background with experience in engineering design and process calculations, as well as knowledge of EPC and petrochemical processes.
Responsibilities:- Lead engineering activities for the green hydrogen project, including equipment and instrument selection, process design, and safety system design.
- Develop design criteria and equipment specifications, as well as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and other engineering deliverables.
- Conduct process calculations to ensure that the design meets the required process specifications and safety requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to the project team on process design and equipment selection.
- Develop and implement safety systems and procedures.
- Monitor progress of the project and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Liaise with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the timely and successful completion of the project.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design and process calculations.
- Extensive knowledge of EPC and petrochemical processes.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards related to process engineering.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
