Job Title: HSE Director (Natural Gas Pipeline) - New England Region
 
Job Summary:
 
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HSE Director to oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance for a natural gas pipeline projects in the New England region. The HSE Director will be responsible for ensuring that all activities related to the pipeline construction and operation are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HSE principles and practices.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Develop, implement and manage the HSE program for the natural gas pipeline projects
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Oversee the development of HSE training programs for all employees and contractors.
Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and community stakeholders.
Ensure that all environmental permits and reporting requirements are met.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to HSE.
 
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management in the natural gas pipeline industry.
Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to pipeline construction and operation.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and public outreach.
