Overview / Responsibilities Wood is recruiting a Contract Manager with unless 5 years of experience to be responsible for the overall commercial contract management with third parties for worldwide projects in Power Plants Industry
Responsibilities
- Negotiation of Terms and Conditions with potential clients and suppliers
- Negotiates changes to contract scope or terms with the customer. Follows Change Management process to identify and approve scope, cost and schedule and manages risks
- Set up standard and special subcontract terms and conditions applicable to each project
- Analysis of norms and rules with impact in the business and advised the various departments
- Enhance project delivery and avoid any risk or commercial exposure to Wood
- Contribute directly to value creation and commercial gain to Wood and Clients
- Support implementation of the Tender Governance Process within the group
- Support implementation of Financial Management Framework within the group
- Support cash collection program
- Support safe working practices across the group commercial function
Skills / Qualifications - Degree in law, commercial/business discipline or similar discipline
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Considerable Commercial / Contract management experience, typically minimum of 5 years
- Experience in negotiation, claims & dispute resolution in energy industry
- Experience in drafting and interpretation of contractual documentation
- Competent in change management
- Contract Manager must have good communication and negotiation skills, with the drive to support WOOD core values and commercial processes and procedures in an ethical manner
