Wood is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team in brownfield s Oil & Gas projects. This opportunity is a Secondment role for one of our key clients and anticipated to be a long term requirement.
Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Kazakhstan.

Skills / Qualifications
Suitably qualified in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution, you will have:
- Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry on brownfields projects within an Engineering / EPCM office or gas processing facilities
- In-depth technical mechanical knowledge - design and operation
- Extensive design and knowledge of applicable codes and standards (both international and Australian)
- Ability to manage risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements
- Proven experience in management of change processes
- Excellent analytical, literacy and numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles
What will set you apart will be your Offshore and Decommissioning / Commissioning experience.
You must have full Australian work rights and currently reside or willing to relocate to Perth, Western Australia to be considered for this role.
