Treasury Analyst

Purpose:

Administers the day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly cash transaction activities for the company, as well as preparing and maintaining documentation related to bank accounts, and other forms required by the banking institutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Determines company's cash position and assists with cash forecasting.
  • Executes wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance company's daily cash position.
  • Completes bank account reconciliations monthly and resolves all discrepancies for both domestic and foreign accounts.
  • Administers company bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts, account analysis, and associated controls.
  • Credit facility maintenance, debt, and interest payments.
  • Processes manual wire and check payments, batch payments for operations/revenue, and intercompany payment obligations.
  • Credit card program.
  • Provides data for journal entries relating to cash management activity.
  • Maintains effective controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assists with. requests and inquiries from both the external and internal audit teams.
  • Prepares and maintains various reports for treasury & risk management.
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years relevant work experience; experience within an Oil & Gas company is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Bilingual is a plus (Spanish and/or Italian).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP ERP program and Microsoft Office applications specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct business following the highest ethical standards.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
