This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Client's Supply Chain Department based in Great Yarmouth. This onshore based role will serve as part of a small team, as part of the Warehouse and Supply Chain Management function.

The Materials Coordinator will be expected to perform material management activities of stock held at our storage sites. These include but are not limited to, identifying materials required by offshore platforms as per requests and executing transportation requirements. In addition to this, you will ensure the correct processes are followed correctly and safely dispose of materials identified for removal from inventory within this position.

This is a full-time role based at our warehouse in Great Yarmouth working 8-hour days, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, mark up and store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Liaise with onshore and offshore Supervisors/personnel to identify requirements that can be filled by materials held in the warehouse
  • Good housekeeping skills, whilst also taking responsibility as key holder for storage sites
  • Maybe required to be on call for evenings and weekends
  • Items received conform to instructions issued by approved Purchase Order
  • Items received are as ordered, Correct Quantity/Weight and Serviceability
  • Items received conform to packing requirements set out in PUK-SMS-OWC-045 PARA 8 PAGE 22-41
  • Items correctly receipted into SAP within 24 Hours of delivery
  • Complete transport request for materials to reach vendor/ other sites in the business
  • Items are allocated to location, deemed by final destination
  • Required to be on call for evenings and weekends
  • All Airfreight is correctly weighed and ready for daily Courier
  • Forklift duties may be required within the yard / warehouse area
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A proven track record within warehouse operations materials management from within the supply chain logistics industry
  • Product knowledge in relation to gas production spares
  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across Microsoft suite, specifically Excel
  • A practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically SAP MM
  • Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
