Description

**The ideal candidate will have an established contact list and the ability to get new customers while maintaining current customers**

 

  • Identify, investigate, and cultivate cold prospective business opportunities
  • Engage in events with focus on new and recurring sales to customers
  • Conduct initial and follow-up contacts with customers and provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate clients' needs to recommend products, services, upgrades, and overall solutions to their construction/welding challenges. Become a trusted advisor regarding welding applications, and capable of communicating to business impacts.
  • Influence multi-level decision makers in key customer segments on product value aligned with customer pain points and business challenges
  • Coordinate budgets, forecasts, and reports with respective Regional Sales Manager
  • Develop and implement account plans within respective responsibilities for national, international, and global accounts
  • Continually manage and develop a pipeline of new business sales opportunities & customer account growth. Constantly track progress and advance opportunities through the sales process. Conscientious of Win/Loss ratio and continuous developing strategy to improve.
  • Act as a welding subject matter expert regarding best practices for equipment operations efficiency and applications utilizations. Gather customer requirements for input into the product development process.
  • Manage all sales inquiries to the corporate office and respond to inquiries/refer calls to the appropriate department or salesperson
  • Secure product orders to meet, and ideally achieve objectives and exceed sales goals
  • Work independently with existing and prospect customers, provide guidance and support on Fronius Perfect Welding products
  • Assist in the development of new sales literature, ads, training materials, press releases, and other duties as assigned by management
  • Make offers within the defined scope of responsibility and personal limits
  • Forward feedback about the technical aspects of the market, competition, and products to TSN (Technical Support National)
  • Participate in trade fairs and provide product/technical guidance and support at regional and national events

 

  • Understand customer needs and provide suggestions, in verbal and written form, for required spare parts as well as other materials to be stocked by customer
  • Provide customer support: product availability, pricing, quotes, special situations, information for bids, equipment documentation, weld demonstrations
  • Communicate and obtain authorization on contracts/offers that exceed personal limits
  • Deal with challenges effectively, positively, and professionally; and promote teamwork practices to achieve established goals and objectives
  • Record all customer related activity in CRM platform including leads, opportunities, appointments, calls and on-site reports as required
  • Primarily offer the standard IWS & PWT Catalogue packages and utilization of Robotic posters to prospective and existing customers
  • Work to acquire new customers through social activities and networking including American Welding Society events, committees, or presentations

 


Requirements

5+ years experience Welding and Construction Sales

 

 

  • Travel up to 50%
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Has a high interest in technology and enjoys the trade of welding in particular
  • Sales Experience is a must
  • Experience in the field and/or Associates Degree in Welding Engineering Technology preferred (Bachelor's degree a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Ability to work independently and/or remotely
  • Candidate must be able to work with a team or alone as the need arises
  • Candidate has a high degree of problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability as a team contributor
