Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking to add a Lead Pipeline Designer to our Conventional Energy team in Calgary.

Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Lead Designer
    • Maintaining budgets
    • Checking Designs and layout
    • Coordinating workloads with Calgary and High Value Engineering Centre
    • Create and develop 3D models using AutoPlant, Cadworx and SmartPlant
    • Creating Alignment Sheets
    • Route Maps
    • Crossings


Skills / Qualifications

  • Diploma in Piping design, production or similar
  • 15+ years of experience in Pipeline Design
  • 10+ years leading projects
  • Experience in Upstream and Dwonstream Oil Sands project preferred
  • Candidate able to work from Calgary or Edmonton

Additional skills required:
  • Managing manhour budgets
  • Estimating projects
  • Strong pipeline expierence
  • Good knowledge of routing pipelines
  • Familiar with handling large Excel spreadsheets
