Would you like to help create digital applications to accelerate the energy transition movement? We are looking for a driven User Experience Designer. This opportunity will allow you to work side by side with a talented multi-disciplinary team to design and execute on the development of software technology to create state of the art digital twins for the energy industry. As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for defining the page-level interactions, including research, translating business requirements into design, wire-framing, prototyping and usability testing, thus playing a key role in the user interface design for our customers' applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Strategically define all user experience standards for the highest degree of usability, specifically look and feel, for various user interfaces, navigation and workflow.
  • Work within company brand and design language guidelines to create layouts and designs that ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user experience.
  • Generate, propose and document new ideas, concepts and designs from beginning to end.
  • Design and create screen mockups and visual composites that communicate ideas, data and information hierarchies in a clear and visually enticing manner.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong background in the UX space - Proven experience of product design and launch
  • Previous experience as senior UX/UI designer, leading projects.
  • Ability to work on all aspects of the lifecycle of a product, including design, implementation testing and maintenance.
  • Ability to survey and provide solutions based on feedback.
  • Background in the energy industry is a plus
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship
