SUEZ Water Technologies seeks goal-focused individuals who are proactive in problem solving and have the leadership and communication skills needed to help a diversified global business achieve its goals. The role will involve working cross functionally to define technical requirements for spiral wound UF/NF/RO products to meet existing and new applications. The job function will include performing chemical analysis and engineering work in the laboratory and factory, and in the field at customer sites.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead technology efforts to evaluate performance of new UF/NF/RO membrane products in existing and emerging applications
  • Collect and analyze operational data and communicate status of product performance to stakeholders
  • Analyze requirements of emerging applications and reduce them to new product requirements.
  • Work hands on at customer sites running and/or observing pilot equipment to directly observe product performance or new application opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with customers and commercial teams to evaluate and identify opportunities to drive meaningful business growth through the development of new membrane products
  • Establish early and inclusive partnerships with complementary functions such as commercial engineering, applications and process engineering, product management and regional technology centers
  • Follow your ideas from the lab to the market. Use your creativity, commitment and drive to transform new products from laboratory-scale ideas to commercial reality
  • Develop focused test plans for internal product evaluation with clear understanding of the external application

Basic Qualifications
  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Process or Industrial Engineering or related discipline required, M.S.
  • 3-5 years experience in membrane and/or filtration process separation is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
