Market Analyst & Business Planner

We are currently working for a top tier EPC with offices in both London and Paris looking for a Market Analyst & Business Planner to support their clients Global Project Centre. You'll be responsible for supporting the acquisition of new business for GPC & Asia Pacific region through the gathering, analysis and presentation of market intelligence to enable strategic business planning.
You'll be administering the client relationship management database, supporting periodic reporting activities whilst participating in the overall Sales & Marketing organisation.
This is a permanent position working from either the London or Paris office.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring market intelligence sources whilst analysing the data for market trends and competitor activities that impact on the regions strategy and preparing reports and presentations to support business decisions for Oil , Gas and new energy transition markets
  • Leading the market data collection and analysis to support business strategies and development plans for the emerging Energy Transition market in the Asia Pacific region
  • Supporting the Business Development team with pursuits whilst reporting on client interactions and maintaining the client relationship database
  • Contributing to the group and region's periodic reporting requirements whilst ensuring updates to vessel schedules, resource plans and master commercial plans are made
  • Maintaining the regions Master Commercial Plan and ensuring close alignment between Finance and Human Resources
  • Carrying out market analysis to support business plans and strategic plans
  • Liaising with human resources to support resource planning to aid with proactive resource management and recruitment
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Tendering and Field Development, providing key market and trend updates

Experience required:
  • Ability to remain confidential of information available within the role
  • Good comprehension of the Subsea Oil and Gas industry, the organisations position in the market and the competitors of emerging new markets associated with the Energy Transition
  • Ability to prepare high quality, engaging presentations and reports for a senior audience review
  • Motivated to learn and support the region and groups growth plans and evolution through the Energy Transition
  • A thorough understanding of all common business software applications (Microsoft suite) and ability to learn and maximise the value from new applications
  • Ability to collaborate within a multi-national, multi-location team
