Our Water Technologies Division is currently searching for a Continuous Improvement Technician at our Minnetonka, MN plant. The Minnetonka plant is easily accessible, clean and a climate-controlled facility!

The Continuous Improvement Technician will develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives while promote Lean culture sitewide.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in the identification of Kaizen and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Drive best practices in processes and implementation of continuous improvement
  • Use troubleshooting skills to identify solutions to complex problems
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate Kaizen events and strategic improvement projects; monitor and measure to ensure sustainment of results
  • Perform hands-on execution of Lean transformation projects
  • Coach employees on use of Lean tools
  • Support building and implementation of visual management systems
  • Support business leaders in process improvements initiatives
  • Promote company safety standards, policies & procedures
  • Promote Lean thinking through training, and coaching at all levels of the organization (operators, supervisors, ops managers, and support functions).
  • Execute projects to lead process efficiencies that improve the product quality, employee safety, site compliance and reduce the cost of goods


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three years of experience with Continuous Improvement Methodology (Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma)
  • Strong written, oral, communication, networking, and presentation skills
  • Ability to use MS Office and other tools for data presentation and analysis
  • Ability to lead, motivate and influence others without authority
  • Project management experience
  • Hands on project implementation and ownership
  • Strong problem solving, synthesizing, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills characterized by effective interactions with a diverse range of internal and external constituents, stakeholders, and audiences

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience driving culture change using change management methodology
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate training and implementation needs of all departments and shifts.
