Take ownership to ensure delivery targets

Ensuring feasibility and execution of Master Production Schedules - alongside production planning for a group of products within the production facility.

As a Lead Manufacturing Production Planner, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Leading a team of Planners within a Wireline Cell. Responsibilities will include team development through mentoring & training
  • Maintaining Planning metrics (KPI's) for team to control supply chain processes from order to delivery to stock.
  • Managing inventory for assigned parts portfolio, aligning material input to support customer requirements while financial inventory objectives are accomplished
  • Developing and maintaining Master Production Schedule (MPS) to match Internal & External Sales & Forecast .
  • Maintaining Materials, Routing, and bill of material (BOM) master records to support product build & purchasing of parts
  • Monitoring execution of Master Production Schedule & Procurement Plan and coordinate appropriate problem resolution tasks.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a BSc in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience, APICS an advantage
  • Have experience with the Planning and/or Purchasing functions in an ERP/MRP system
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
  • Have working experience developing demand forecasts, production schedules, capacity plans and safety stock analysis.
  • Be a strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
