Position Responsibilities
  • Engineering and Manufacturing systems (Applications and Hardware)
  • IT Security
  • Network infrastructure at Rankin
  • Receive and log requests for support from internal ticketing systems, email or telephone
  • Responsible for resolving majority of tickets deemed level 1/level 2 for the application - using agreed KPI metrics agreed with the stakeholders.
  • Liaise with software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfill user requirements.
  • Prioritizes requests in accordance with agreed criteria.
  • Monitors and informs progress of requests for support until issue is fully resolved.
  • Follows standard operating procedures, and makes recommendations where processes could be enhanced for the support workflow.
  • Cross-trains other Business Systems staff and field Personnel on the application.
  • Produces and manages documentation or FAQ's for Application.
  • Monitors the application and analyzes for performance trends and possible resolutions
  • Produces monthly report with key information relating to application.
  • Provide the user community with a notification for planned outages and upon closure of outage
  • Assists in defining acceptance tests and participates in testing for new enhancements or changes made to Business Applications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the ability to generate spreadsheets, tables, and formulas in Excel
  • Exceptional organizational ability with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
