As a Senior Product Manager for our ZeeLung technology, you'll be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the ZeeLung product line. This is an excellent opportunity to own the Multi-Generation Product Plan (MGPP) and scale the revenue growth plans and competitive strategies for the product line globally. You'll leverage your subject matter expertise and leadership skills to facilitate long term planning and defining the overall business strategy with a focus on three primary areas:

VOC, MGPP, NPI commercialization

  • Collect, analyze, and respond to customer inputs (Voice of Customer), incorporating VOC into MGPP and feeding back info on existing products to business.
  • Develop, align, and drive execution of the Multi-Generational Product Plan (MGPP) for the product line, including new product introductions (NPI), pipeline of innovations for future NPIs, and expansion of existing products into new applications (in collaboration with Technology, Technology Incubation and Commercial teams).
  • Set expected timelines for NPIs including key milestones, develop business case for budget allocation, and monitor Technology & Supply Chain
  • Define and articulate value proposition, target customer segments and product attributes. Direct MARCOM and Product Marketing efforts to translate those concepts into impactful collateral for use in NPI commercialization (fact sheet, case studies, SharePoint sites, etc.).
  • Develop and execute productization plans and maintain product attributes and internal information in SAP, ensuring accurate costs, pricing, product hierarchies, and sales status to ensure seamless support for all channels to market.
  • Develop training programs for internal colleagues and customers on new product value propositions as part of NPI commercialization. Communicate regularly with refresher materials to ensure a high level of knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams on marketing communications to drive product awareness and create product launch plans.
  • Support regional Commercial & Engineering teams to win high priority opportunities.
  • Products Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and maintain connections with internal and external (customers) to understand market drivers, value propositions and product competitiveness.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Technology teams to improve product quality performance based on VOCs, CITs (customer issue tracking) and other business intelligence.
  • Proactively manage the product line portfolio, rationalize SKUs for productivity while balancing flexibility to market and customer needs.
  • Product Line Profitability
  • Develop market-based price strategy, implementing regular price adjustments, and managing price exceptions through commercial operations business process.
  • Manage product costs (Standard Cost) in all production plants, and continuously drive down product cost working with Sourcing (mat'l) and Supply Chain (productivity).
  • Plan and keep updated Product MTPs from volume to EBIT as a guide to support regional and functional alignment to targets.
  • Track product volumes, material cost, revenue, and margin rates by product, market, and region... and drive those metrics towards meeting our profitability targets both annually and over the strategic plan period.
  • Develop, manage and implement product volume forecasts and product stocking strategies with Sales, PSI and Supply Chain.

Core Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in an engineering/science discipline such as Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or related technical degree
  • 10+ years of related experience in operations, customer and/or vendor relations, sales, application engineering, product management and/or marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in the water treatment industry
  • Passion, curiosity, tenacity to deliver on commitments
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time
