Job Summary: An Agile Product Owner or Product Specialist is needed to guide scrum teams, manage and optimize the backlog, build the roadmap, represent the voice of the customer, and deliver incremental product value.
Responsibilities and Duties: Within Landmark, the Product Owner (you) will work closely with the Solution Owner to understand and prioritize customer requirements in current on premise or SAAS applications. You will engage day-to-day with Agile Scrum team(s), participating in scrum ceremonies, ensuring the voice of the customer is always represented. You will ensure there is one backlog which is visible, prioritized, and transparent. You will engage internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate new functionality, get buy in and gather feedback. You will ensure this feedback is recorded in the backlog and iterated over, as needed. You are accountable for aligning with the Solution roadmap and releasing Features and Products in relevant on-premise or SAAS Deployments in an iterative fashion. You will provide support across the organization as requested (Sales, Support, etc).
Qualifications and skills: Require an undergraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Marketing and a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical product domain. Prefer to hire someone with great organizational and communication skills and with experience working with teams across time zones.
Previous job experience: Product Owner experience working on a platform, data or framework scrum team; experience working with open source software; experience with Agile methodologies and mindset also preferred.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from Product Specialist to Sr Product Specialist or Principal Product Specialist.
