The eDFT Engineer position involves the ownership of Electrical Design for Testabilty metholodogy and implementation of the systems and all its electronic subsystems. This includes, but is not limited to: development of comprehensive plans for achieving test coverage, testability analysis and electrical design optimization toward achieving required board level flying probe, functional test coverage and system level test strategy goals. eDFT Engineer will be involved in overall electrical system architecture development to ensure the chosen system architecture will facilitate the overall system testability and that the detailed tests (at board level, sub-system level, and system level) are implementable. All aspects of the product design process should be reviewed by the eDFT Engineer to ensure tat the testability of the end product is competently and sufficiently developed. The eDFT Engineer should be able to work on multiple projects from start to finish. This includes development of overall methodology for DFT and its efficient automation of manufacturing system level tests and electronic boards funciontional tests. The eDFT Engineer closely works with electrical design work and makes recommentation to the electrical engineers on the whole system and its individual board designs to achieve 100% optimal test coverage. The position also requires continuois improvement of test coverage and reduction of test cost impact.
