Our Nexus Controls Business Team designs and builds industry leading, custom designed control systems and applications for gas and steam turbines, generators, and compressors. We help our customers to control and monitor industrial equipment in the Energy sector. We deliver engineered-to-order solutions in a wide range of industries and geographical locations.

Partner with the best

As the Planning Leader, you will manage a team of Project/Materials Planners at the Longmont Colorado site. You will plan and schedule the materials required to execute the business. This may require cross functional work to translate the demand, across multiple time horizons, into physical orders to ensure delivery meets customer requirements.

As a Planning Leader, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Managing the Longmont Site Project Planning team
  • Communicating with the project planners on their assigned workload and streamlining ERP Processing; to control site Capacity Planning and run the Daily Production meetings.
  • Participating in physical inventories, LEAN initiatives, and using Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
  • Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders.
  • Acting on all matters pertaining to schedules, status, and inventory; developing and implementing process improvements to reduce cost and cycles.
  • Analyzing incoming demand; identifying order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
  • Collaborating with project teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure quality and accuracy of the project schedules.
  • Maintaining delivery schedules and reports on shipments, revenue, and on-time delivery for the quarter.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Have experience in inventory optimization and management
  • Have Intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality or other ERP system
  • Have ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking with tactical execution and a sense of urgency
  • Have good functional knowledge of electrical and controls equipment

  • The pay range for this role will be in our LPB with a starting salary of $95,000 USD Annually.
  • You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Fullstream Short-term incentive program applicable for the above position. The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level and specific requirements of each of these plans.
