Job Summary

The Mechanical Field Engineer CPF is responsible for managing mechanical works related to the manufacture, assembly of equipment and pipes, ensuring that they are executed according to the designs approved for construction during their execution, supporting with technical concepts of the plans for construction, prior to the beginning of the execution, during the definition and design phase, in order that these are adjusted to the real needs of the projects and the production of the field.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review approved scope of work with the client, engineering for construction last review and/or other document involving a change in these documents (MOC).
  • Comply with operations integrity standards (Well Integrity, PSIM, SQ, etc).
  • Propose improvements to the mechanical technical scope and ensure compliance with SPM-FEC-ST-001 Facilities Engineering and Construction Standard Rev. 0.
  • Administer, supervise and control work programs related to mechanical discipline in the fronts under his charge, proposing compliance with the deadlines established with the degree of quality offered in the scope agreed with the client, It also reviews and approves the reports of the contractors about the executed activities.
  • Coordinate with the client, as well as with contractors, on-site requirements (materials, resources, permits, procedures).

    Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Academic training in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial.
  • Minimum experience of 8 years in the oil industry in management and/or supervision of engineering projects in the mechanical discipline.
  • Expertise in integrating projects involving multiple engineering disciplines, such as project engineering, process engineering, instrumentation, electronics and civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of rotating, static equipment, industrial assemblies related to the oil industry, construction of pipelines and flow lines, production facilities.
  • Knowledge of rules applicable to this discipline, environmental and regulatory standards of the State inherent to the activity being carried out (RAHOE).
  • Knowledge of Autocad, Project, PIPESIM and management of Office packages.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Residence in Ecuador.
