Position Summary

The Technical Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for the planning, development, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns and materials for Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS).

The Technical Marketing and Communication Coordinator is a key member of the Global Marketing and Communications Team and plays a critical role in the development of compelling messaging and content that increases awareness, brand visibility, drives demand generation and enhances audience engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL
  • Work with stakeholders and the wider IMDS team to create strategic marketing plans, write engaging and effective material with strong value proposition messaging and support with various projects, campaigns and sales reports. Ensure the key stakeholders are kept up to date with the latest marketing and products initiatives.
  • Working with the wider Global Marketing and Communications team, develop suitable advertising and marketing campaigns that align with the business unit and business development strategies.
  • Develop marketing and sales tools as required by the sales team.
  • Track results, review analytics, and provide ROI of marketing activities.
  • Design, implement and manage a Digital Library in an organized way, organizing support and technical material to be easy accessed by all supported groups, ensuring it's current.
  • Identify the need for Product Management support material, issuing such material in a coordinated effort with our ODC - Offshore Development Centre; in combination to the tasks related to the Digital Library.
  • Conceptualize, structure, write, and present strategic and compelling stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of regional trade shows, open days, technology days, digital and in-person events. Communicate benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of the events and implement improvements as required. Measure the success of each event and report the results to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the placement of business unit and regional advertisements and digital campaigns with the broader Global Marketing and Communications team, including meeting deadlines for submissions, social media planning, and filing purchase requisitions.
  • Manage the marketing budgetary plan for the assigned business unit, and assist with processing invoices for payment in a timely manner.
  • Maintain promotional items and marketing materials inventory and process orders.
  • Work closely with the broader Global Marketing and Communications team to ensure brand consistency and contribute with brainstorming ideas which align with the company's vision and devise plans to execute these concepts.
  • Contribute at Business Unit and Business Development meetings on a strategic level to develop suitable marketing strategies and implement accordingly.
  • Work with stakeholders and the wider Global Marketing and Communications team to create strategic marketing plans, write engaging and effective copy with strong value proposition messaging.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, hospitality management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of solid marketing and technical writing.
  • Minimum 1 year' experience of general business and trade shows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to events in multiple locations (domestically and internationally) including transporting marketing collateral to trade shows and events.

Additional Information

Location
  • Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the year.
