Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to support a key client project in Equatorial Guinea on a 6/6 rotational basis.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and support across the Oil and Gas Production Facilities
  • Maintenance, Implementation and Assurance of the Company Operations Management System within Operations
  • Operations Input into Project / Workscope developments with a focus on assurance of Execution Readiness
  • Development and Enhancing of Operations Local leadership positions. Operations Management capabilities
  • Provide support to (and temporary cover for) Offshore OIM
  • Ensuring the Operations elements of the Operations Management System are maintained and implemented in compliance with the Company standards
  • Champion Company Safety and Integrity culture through proactive and visible leadership/participation within the Company Safety and Integrity Program e.g Behavioral Based Safety Programme and effective Auditing
  • Office based representative for Operational Input into Project / Activity development within Company, including associated Risk assessments, HAZIDS/HAZOPS liasing with the Offshore OIM
  • Office based representative for Operational Input into the Project / Activity readiness process to assure readiness for efficient execution
  • Provide Operations input into the Planning (90 day / 1 & 5 Year) process in conjunction with the Offshore OIM
  • Provide Operations input into the Company Budget Process in conjunction with the Offshore OIM
  • Creation of a coaching culture and an environment that facilitates Operations Leadership knowledge transfer to Local Operations personnel to ensure that personnel are developed to fulfill their maximum potential
