The Field Quality Technician inspects finished products on the rig or remote job sites at a variety of locations worldwide.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibration of nondestructive test equipment.
- Conduct inspection and be able to detect discontinuities using ultrasonic equipment.
- Conduct inspection using mag yoke and portable coils.
- Conduct inspection using dye penetrant and maintain a clean work area.
- Accurately process test results & create reports.
- Verification that company product is to specifications and standards.
- Proper maintenance of inspection gear, dimensional tooling and other equipment.
- Responsible for all aspects of NDT related records.
- Assist with any other projects as needed.
Minimum Job Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 2 years experience as a certified inspector.
- Completion of accredited UT Level I and Level II course.
- Completion of accredited MT Level I and Level II course.
- Completion of accredited PT Level I and Level II course.
- Oil field related work experience.
- Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
