Overview / Responsibilities

Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Document Control Specialist to work in our St. John's office, on a large-scale brownfield offshore oil and gas project. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Assist with processing technical documentation using Documentum and issuing documentation using Aconex
  • Provide assistance to engineering team and suppliers with use of Document Management System and documentation queries
  • Assign document numbers for Queries and Design Deviation Requests
  • Electronic archiving and retrieving hard copy documentation from offsite storage


Skills / Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Records and Information Certificate/Information Management certificate or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Document Management Systems
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
