Product Compliance Engineer

Join our Compliance Engineering Team!

Our Compliancy Engineering team provides global certification and compliance engineering support to the Bently Nevada technology team. We interact with engineering firms and governmental agencies to provide record of compliance, ensuring all products have the right quality to gain the needed product certification or qualification.

Partner with the best

As a Product Compliance Engineer, you communicate standards to the design community. You will participate in the product compliance and certification work and communicate results/ actions to the relevant engineering and supply chain team. You will maintain the validity of existing regulatory certification, listings, licenses, and registrations for products.

As Product Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

 

 

  • Working closely with the design teams through design processes of products to ensure standards and country specific approvals are met.
  • Interpreting product datasheets, determining which global product compliance applies to the product and apply appropriate blocking mechanisms.
  • Communicating and presenting with internal teams on metrics, project status, and research.
  • Assisting in preforming gap analysis between editions, to determine test/design changes required to meet new standards and communicating any changes.
  • Interfacing with Product Support and Product Test to answer technical questions, resolve issues, and working with customers when needed.
  • Supporting internal and external audits as required.
  • Evaluating early warnings on new or changed regulations/standard and determine the applicability for products.

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

  • Have a bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university or college
  • Have full professional proficiency in English
  • Have good command with Microsoft tools, specifically Excel
  • Have knowledge of REACH and RoHS regulatory compliance
  • Have knowledge of Global Product Compliance Regulations (Radio & Hazardous Area approvals, Metrology, EMC/EMI and General Safety Requirements)
