The Senior Project Manager - Marine is responsible for managing highly complex projects for the supply of critical equipment for the Marine propulsion.
She/He is accountable for driving the project team to fulfil the contractual requirements in terms of scope, quality, cost and schedule as well as managing the various internal and external stakeholders.
Due to the complexity of these projects, beside the use of the existing company processes and tools, she/he will also lead the team to develop ad-hoc/specific tools, procedures and KPI's that are necessary for the success of the project.

As a Senior Project Manager- Marine, you will be responsible for:
Drive the project team to achieve project success, driving delivery on-time and on-quality while ensuring margin enhancement and customer satisfaction.
Ensure high standard of communication and coordination with all internal and external stakeholders, at all levels.
Influence customer decisions and anticipate customer needs in order to meet or exceed expectations.
Resolve disputes and commercial issues
Drive a collaborative approach within the project team in a matrix organization, fostering a culture of respect and compliance to procedures and standards, as well as to contract-specific requirements.
Manage and report all financials of the project including budgets, costs, margin, invoicing, and collection.
Manage project risk issues (FMEA) including deliverables, claims, contract changes, budget, and effective project closeout.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited University
15 years of Project Management experience on complex equipment projects (incl. experiences on Marine applications)
Experience with Military/Defense projects
Knowledge of propulsion equipment (gear boxes, clutches, diesel engines, electric motors and gas turbines)
Proven track record managing teams
High energy level - self-starter
Leadership skills and ability to effectively operate in a matrix team / organization.
Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
Outstanding presentation and Communication skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
IPMA or PMI certification (preferred)
