Influence area:
• Project teams directly managed at different sites (Europe and Argentina).
• Project Team in Buenos Aires for the technical and methods support (quality, HSE, Project Control, etc...)
• Specialist from Head Quarters for additional technical and methods support (not provided by team in Buenos Aires).
• Coordination with Total Austral logistics regarding vessels, custom clearance, fuel supply, helicopter flights, etc.
• Contractors' teams, subcontractors, worksites, Offshore TDF.
• Management of Contracts with a budget of about 150 MUSD for Platform EPC and Platform T&I.
• Teams managed directly (direct subordinates): 6 persons
• Teams managed indirectly: Coordination and management of one International Contractor for Platform Fabrication and one International Contractor for Transportation and Installation (T&I) with activities located at different locations around the world and offshore TDF.

• To achieve and to make achieve to the personnel, contractors / subcontractors the HSE rules of Austral Total and of the Company.
• To achieve the goals and annual aims of the Project.
• To participate in HSE audits and visits to engineering sites.

• To ensure that the contractor and subcontractors prepare the design, fabricates transport and install in accordance with Contract requirements and Company specifications.
• To anticipate problems in his field of activity, keep the management informed and propose mitigations, solution(s) and/or optimisation(s).
• To participate in any technical or coordination meeting necessary to fulfil the job responsibility.
• To communicate with the contractor's team to solve day-to-day problems.
• To identify any deviation to the Contract requirements that may have impact on HSE, cost, planning or quality.
• To manage contractual discussions with Contractors and change order requests

• To report regularly on engineering and construction progress to his hierarchy, highlighting critical problems, drifts and malfunctions.
• To ensure that the contractor and subcontractors issue drawings and documents as requested in contract.
• To participate on and to follow up of approval cycle of documents and expediting
• To expedite answer of questions and technical queries, taking into account the contractual environment.
• To assess any corrective measures the contractor and subcontractors intend to take in case of difficulties.
• To participate and follow up on technical bids evaluations of equipment/bulk materials to be purchased by Contractor.
• To assist to Project Review's teams.
• To participate in engineering and construction meetings.

• To oversee the coordination of interfaces among Contractors (Fabrication, T&I, Pipeline).
• To lead regular meetings with the contractors and subcontractors to verify the status of interfaces.
• To ensure interfaces register is up to date and no answers are pending.

Qualification: Graduate engineer, familiar with engineering and construction activities, and with a good level of technical understanding in all disciplines involved in offshore platform design, fabrication and installation.
• Languages: Fluency in English (oral and written). Spanish could be an advantage also.
• Professional Experience: 5 years or more in the Oil and Gas industry, with 5 years minimum experience in similar positions, mandatory experience in platform fabrication and T&I activities.
• Good interpersonal, managerial and communication skills.

Position based initially 3 weeks in Buenos Aires (Argentina) Then mobilisation to EPSCC contractor offices (aprox. 7 months) in Milan (Italy) Then to yard (Abu Dhabi), with missions to subcontractors or entities outside.
